After reading the first book I though this series was just going to be a collection of short tales of revenge but within this book many layers of the overall plot are revealed .  The story is intriguing and after the author revealed a few clues about agents “Graves” and “Fisher” I think I am properly hooked.  I had some difficulties understanding the street dialogue and in the section set in Paris I feel some sort of subtitles were in order. I had similar difficulties in the first book. The artwork is good and both stories were very enjoyable to read. The only real letdown is the poor paper quality but this is typical for Vertigo and the price isn’t too bad. This novel advances the series along very nicely. 6/10
